Power Cable

XLPE Insulated cables overcome the limitations of PVC insulated cables such as thermal degradation and poor moisture resistance. These cables have better resistance to stress cracking and good resistance to ageing in hot air.

We specialize in manufacturing XLPE cables ranging from 3300 volts to 33000 volts with sizes upto 1000 sq mm.

Cross-linked Polyethylene Insulated Electric or XLPE Power Cables possesses excellent electrical, mechanical and heat-resistant properties. It has an advantage over PVC insulated cables because of its easy maintenance.

1 kV to 3.3 kV

It is used for protecting the cable from moistures which would affect the insulation. Cable sheath is made up of lead alloy, and these strengths withstand the internal pressures of the pressurized cables. The inner sheath of PVC is either extruded or tapped.

  • The PVC covering over the armouring or innersheath is called outer sheath. Different grades are available to meet specific working conditions.

  • Multi core cables are installed singly.
  • Single core cables are laid in trefoil formation.
