Introduction
Introduction
KDI Power PV Solar Cables are specially designed for connecting photovoltaic power supply systems. These cables are intended for use on the direct current (D.C.) side of photovoltaic systems with a nominal D.C. voltage rating of 1.5 kV.
KDI Power PV Solar Cables are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and can be used in flexible as well as fixed installations. Built with high mechanical strength, they perform reliably even in extreme weather conditions. The cables are engineered to withstand demanding environmental conditions in fixed, mobile, rooftop, or architecturally integrated photovoltaic installations.
Application
These cables are suitable for long-term permanent outdoor use, even under harsh and varying climatic conditions. They are designed and tested to operate at a normal maximum conductor temperature of 90°C and can withstand temperatures up to 120°C for up to 20,000 hours. Under normal operating conditions, the expected service life of these cables is approximately 30 years.
